The professions regulated by the Council as required by Section 17 of the Act:

• Medical Laboratory Technology
• Radiography
• Physiotherapy
• Occupational Therapy
• Dietetics / Nutrition
• Speech Therapy
• Audiology
• Public Health Inspection

At the discretion of the Minister of Health and on the recommendation of the Council, other professions, which qualify, can be added by extending the First Schedule to the Act.

Any person who practices any of the professions specified without being registered, or implies that he/she is a registered member of a profession, shall be guilty of an offence and on conviction in a Resident Magistrate's Court will be fined.
