Rashida St. Juste is the Public Relations & Communication Manager for the Child Development Agency. She joins the Ministry’s Inter-disciplinary Transition Team with ten (10) years of experience as a public relations practitioner, both in the private sector and within Government. Mrs. St. Juste, who holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media & Communication (UWI), was co-opted to the IDTT to provide communication support for the restructuring exercise. She is responsible for bringing national recognition of World Day for the Prevention of Child Abuse (November 19), through the staging of the Agency’s annual Candle Light Vigil, since 2007. The event is held to commemorate the lives of children who lost their lives due to crime and violence; spread the message of child abuse prevention; and encourage reporting of child abuse.
