Ms. Christine Keene has been employed to the Ministry of Health (MOH) for twenty-three years. Her success as the Ministry’s Telephone Operator/Receptionist is attributed to her excellent customer relations skills and warm personality. Ms. Keene’s genuine care for the persons with whom she interacts led her to become an active member of the Jamaica Civil Service Association (JCSA) in 2001, serving as the Staff Representative for MOH employees. She has retained this elected position for ten consecutive years, an accomplishment which demonstrates the confidence and trust that her colleagues in the Ministry place in her ability to represent them. The Inter-disciplinary Transition Team (IDTT) would not be complete without Ms. Keene, who represents the eyes, ears and voice of those with whom the channels of communication must remain open throughout the restructuring exercise, all Ministry of Health employees.
