Minister of Health Dr. the Honourable Christopher Tufton has expressed condolences on behalf of the team at the Ministry of Health to the family and friends of Dr. Vary Jones Leslie, who was killed in a motor vehicle accident in the Cayman Islands on Monday July 17, 2017. Dr. Vary Jones Leslie, was a retired medical consultant who worked with the Spanish Town hospital for over 23 years.
In expressing gratitude for Dr. Leslie’s contribution to public health, Minister Tufton commented that “this is a great loss to the medical fraternity and community which would have benefitted from her years of experience.” To the family, friends and colleagues of Dr. Vary Jones Leslie, Dr. Tufton wishes to assure you that his prayers are with you at this very difficult time.
