MINISTER SPENCER SIGNS MEDICAL GAS SUPPLY CONTRACT

January 18, 2008 (MOH&E):

The Minister of Health & Environment, Hon. Rudyard Spencer today (January 18) signed a contract valuing $68.5 million for the supply of medical gases to the South-East Regional Health Authority (SERHA) over the next two years.

The contract, which has been awarded to Central Oxygen Limited, was signed in a brief ceremony, held at the Bustamante Hospital for Children.

Present at the signing were Dr. Grace Allen-Young, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry; Mr. Aundre Franklin, Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry; Ms. Catherine Gregory, Regional Director for the South-East Regional Health Authority (SERHA), Mr. Michael Bancroft, General Manager of Central Oxygen Limited.
