The Ministry of Health (Emergency, Disaster Management and Special Services Branch (EDMSSB) now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Supply and Delivery of Three (3) EMS Ambulances.
Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the Government of Jamaica, Handbook of Public Sector Procurement Procedures http://www.mof.gov.jm and is open to all bidders from all countries.
Bidders must submit the following with their bids at the time of bid opening:
- Copy of a valid and current National Contracts Commission Certificate (NCC) in the category of: “Motor Vehicles and Spares or Motor Vehicle Spares & Accessories”. However, for foreign Bidders, only if said Bidder is successful and any aspect of the contract is to be executed in Jamaica, the Bidder shall be required to register with the National Contracts Commission (NCC) before the contract is awarded.
- Copy of a valid and current Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC)/Tax Compliance Letter (TLC). However, for foreign Bidders, where the contract will be executed in Jamaica, the foreign contractor will be required to obtain a valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC)/Tax Compliance Letter (TCL) before contract is awarded. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the address below from 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. A complete set of bidding documents will become available at the Ministry of Health, Procurement Unit, Ground Floor, RKA Building, 10-16 Grenada Way, Kingston 5, Monday to Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Fridays, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days after bid closing and MUST be deposited in the tender box at the address below by 11:00 a.m. local time, Thursday, September 6, 2018. Bids will be opened publicly at 11:15 a.m. local time, Thursday, September 6, 2018 at the offices of the Ministry of Health ground floor conference room.
Bids submitted after the stipulated date and time will be rejected.
The Ministry of Health reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids (s) or to re-tender, without thereby incurring any liability to the Bidder(s).
