Human Resources and Administration Officer – Level 2

Compensation $2,610,000.00 pa (Minimum)

 

JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Foundation’s Executive Director, the HR and Administration Officer of the National Healthcare Enhancement Foundation Ltd is responsible for providing leadership and direction in coordinating, managing and overseeing the Human Resources and Administration (HR&A) functions of the Foundation. The HR&A Officer will provide oversight and guidance to the development implementation and monitoring of processes related to recruitment and retention, compensation, benefits, payroll processing, training and development and HR records management. The incumbent is also responsible for ensuring the proper administration of the business environment to include adequacy of the office needs, welfare of the staff, compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, policies and procedures of the Foundation.

 

KEY OUTPUT

  • Strategic Business and Operational Plan prepared;
  • Policies and procedures developed;
  • Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Reports prepared and submitted;
  • Adequate controls or tracking systems implemented;
  • Staff performance management appraisals documented;
  • Board Meeting Minutes prepared;
  • Recruitment and Selection exercises conducted;
  • Office supplies and stationery procured and managed;
  • Social Media and Website managed;
  • Individual workplan prepared.

 

Key responsibility areas INCLUDES:

  • Coordinates with Finance and Administration Manager in the preparation of monthly Payroll;
  • Reviews employee final payments for accuracy and compliance with payroll requirements;
  • Participates in the development of policies and procedures to guide the operations of the Foundation;
  • Participates in the development of the Foundation’s strategic and operational plan;
  • Assists in the development and implementation of requisite HR and Administrative systems to ensure a functionally effective and compliant business-operating environment;

 

Minimum Required Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, HR Management, Management Studies or related field plus
  • 5 years’ experience providing Human Resources and Administration support in a medium-sized organization

Or

  • Associate Degree in Business Administration, HR Management, Management Studies or related field plus
  • 10 years’ experience providing Human Resources and Administration support in a medium-sized organization
