In an effort to reduce overcrowding in Accident and Emergency Departments and to offer more comfort to patients while waiting to be admitted to wards in hospitals across the island, the Ministry of Health and Wellness has purchased 200 new reclining chairs.
The convenient design of these chairs allow for medical supplies to be connected for patients to be treated while they wait and can also be unfolded and used as a temporary substitute for a bed.
