The Government of Jamaica, through the Ministry of Health and Wellness, has received financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) toward the cost of the Support for The Health System Strengthening for The Prevention and Care Management of Non-Communicable Disease Programme and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards the procurement of medical equipment.
The Ministry of Health and Wellness now invites bids from all eligible and qualified bidders for the supply of medical equipment in 4 Lots as follows:
Lot 1 –Dental Equipment
Lot 2- Medical Equipment 2
Lot 3- Medical Equipment 3
Lot 4- Medical Equipment 4
Bidders may bid on one or all Lots. Bidders must submit a list of at least five contracts it has performed over the last five years providing a similar type of equipment.
Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) specified in the Inter-American Development Bank: Policies for the Procurement of Goods and Works financed by the Inter-American Development Bank GN-2349-9 and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the policies.
The tender document can be download from the Government of Jamaica e-Procurement system (GOJEP). Bids must be submitted electronically on (GOJEP) by 3:00 P.M on November 23, 2021. Late submissions will be rejected. Bids will be opened online at 3:15 P.M on November 23, 2021. Bidders are therefore urged to commence bid upload at least two (2) hours prior to the submission time. The Procuring Entity will not be held liable for bids not submitted on time due to the late commencement of bid upload.
