Health Ministry Hosts Public Session on New Coronavirus

The Ministry of Health and Wellness will this Wednesday (March 11) host an online public sensitisation session on the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

The event will be hosted on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram  pages of the Ministry of Health & Wellness (@themohwgovjm); Dr. Christopher Tufton (@christufton), Flow Jamaica (@flowja) and Jamaica Information Service (@JISnews)

“The online session will allow the public to hear the details of Jamaica’s Comprehensive National Response Plan for COVID-19 while providing them the opportunity to have any concerns they may answered,” said Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr Christopher Tufton.

The online session forms part of the Ministry’s efforts to ensure Jamaicans are given accurate and timely information on which to base decision-making about their health and safety, given the risk presented by COVID-19.
