Salary range: $6,820,273.00 –$9,172,509.00 per annum
JOB PURPOSE
Under the direction of the Chief Health Economist & Data Scientist, the Health Economist will carry out reviews of health economics data, existing literature and analytic modelling to facilitate the development of policy guidelines for the Ministry of Health and Wellness. This will be done by presenting cost-effective evidence to the Chief Health Economist & Data Scientist and the relevant Guidelines and Policy Committees; ultimately contributing to the quality of the health economic methodology across the MoHW.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- BSc in Economics or Statistics;
- Training in Health Economics or Health Planning with a specialization in Health Economics;
- At least three (3) years of experience in economic analysis and research.
