Salary $1,272,269-1,711,060 per annum


Under the General supervision of the Administrator, the Records Clerk is required to locate and retrieve files and  ensure that correspondence  are accurately filed and  files are maintained to facilitate easy  access of information as well as  the scheduling of patients for surgery and post-operative evaluations for the ophthalmology centre.



  1. Ensure that files requested are dispatched and files are re-shelved
  2. Sorts records
  3. Maintains records of the movement of files
  4. Ensure that all files and enclosures are numbered accordingly are in correct order
  5. Files correspondence and charge out cards
  6. Locate cards and replace on returned files
  7. Creates new files
  8. Maintains “Bring up” System
  9. Removes inactive records for shelves
  10. Prepares inactive records for transfer
  11. Records and re-shelf incoming files
  12. Overseas the operations of the ophthalmology centre records
  13. Schedule patients for pre-operative, post-operative evaluations, surgery and

          Laser treatment.



  • 4 CXC or O’ Level including English
  • Training in records Management
